Starlight2Travel loves to meet, network, and learn from as many travel industry events as we can! It helps us stay informed of everything happening in the travel world. While we've previously shared insights from our participation in KHM Travel Group's annual event, Destination Success, today we're thrilled to recount our experiences at another exceptional occasion hosted by our travel host agency, KHM Travel Group, called the Crystal Conference Cruise!
The Crystal Conference Cruise and Awards Ceremony is an annual cruise sailing that brings together agents, suppliers, and other travel industry professionals to celebrate the achievements of all agents nationwide. This conference hosts over 400 travel professionals that we call "Our KHM Travel Family." The energy and excitement we feel to attend this event is incomparable to any other industry event we participate in!
This year's theme at Crystal was "Make Your Mark" and we are so inspired to make our mark as one of Northeast Ohio's top rated travel agencies.
This year marked Starlight2Travel's first year attending this conference as an official travel agency team! Both Kim, our owner, Accredited Cruise Counselor, and expert advisor, along with Debbie, our newest cruise and resort travel advisor, attended the conference. Meanwhile, Jamie Alesci, our travel coordination assistant, managed ongoing agency business and ensured the quality care of our traveling clients!
Kim and Debbie had some amazing opportunities to meet with some incredible resources in the travel industry. The supplier scavenger hunt was a major highlight because we had the chance to meet some new supplier business development managers, as well as see some familiar BDMs to reconnect with as well. We had the pleasure of dining and meeting with Celebrity Cruises and Sandals Luxury Resorts which was an amazing time!

It wasn't all business onboard! It IS a lot of work to be learning, meeting and networking for five days in a row. Luckily, we had the chance to get in extra relaxation and adventure time during our stops in port. This cruise itinerary was the Eastern Caribbean which included ports of call in the Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Bimini beach in the Bahamas.
One of the best parts of any KHM Travel Group event is interacting with the team from our host agency. These team members are an incredible wealth of knowledge that has grown our agency exponentially. We wouldn't be where we are today without their support!
The Crystal Conference Cruise is an amazing time to celebrate our growth as a travel agency and the accomplishments of our fellow travel agents.

We enjoyed every second of our time onboard, but we're excited to be back in office applying our inspiration into our business now!
