Starlight2Travel loves to meet, network, and learn from as many travel industry events as we can! These opportunities help us stay informed, inspired, and connected in the ever-changing travel world. While we’ve previously shared about KHM Travel Group’s annual Crystal Conference Cruise, this year brought something entirely new—and magical.
For the first time since 2015, the Crystal Conference took place on land—and where better to gather than the most magical place on earth? Over 500 travel professionals, suppliers, and KHM team members came together at the Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace at Disney Springs from March 2–6, 2025 to celebrate two decades of KHM excellence. And for the first time ever, our full Starlight2Travel team—Kim, Debbie, and Jamie—were all in attendance!
About the Crystal Conference & Award Ceremony Agency Trip 2025
This year’s theme was all about reflection, celebration, and setting the stage for the future. Our host agency truly elevated every detail: from an incredible speaker lineup to emotional surprises, inspiring awards, wellness events, and even a silent disco.
We heard from industry icons like Vicki Freed of Royal Caribbean and Denella Ri’chard, a powerhouse TV host and travel advocate. Business coach David Pritchard and travel entrepreneur Angela Hughes dropped wisdom we’ll be using in both our work and personal lives.
Debbie especially loved this year’s keynote speakers, sharing, “They provided insight I’ll carry into my everyday life, not just business. And the entertainment? Incredible. You could feel the passion and joy in the room!”
Jamie, attending for the first time, felt like she’d joined something truly special. “The care from KHM was so genuine. It felt like walking into a family gathering, not just a conference. And let’s talk about Disney’s surprise entertainment… amazing singers, hilarious characters, and a magical Mickey Mouse moment. I’ll never forget it.”
We also got to celebrate our peers and mentors during the Crystal Award Ceremony, complete with unforgettable performances by Royal Caribbean’s Mos5ac and Norwegian Cruise Line’s "Revolution: A Celebration of Prince."

We loved connecting with suppliers, BDMs, and partners who support the magic we create for our clients. The interactive supplier expo was full of helpful insights, and we especially enjoyed reconnecting with our friends at Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, and Sandals Resorts. These partnerships are a big part of what makes our agency so strong—and what helps us plan amazing trips for you!
Crystal Conference and Award Ceremony's Adventure Time at Universal and Disney
It wasn’t all business! We had rare pockets of free time to explore and make memories as a team.
At Universal Orlando
We soaked up sunny weather, joined in the Mardi Gras parade (yes, we got to be in the parade!), and rode some unforgettable rides. Debbie, a Universal first-timer, shared: “The Spiderman ride, Hogwarts Express, Harry Potter ride—it was all new and so fun! Even better was sharing the day with other agents.”
At Disney World
We played like kids again. Jamie summed it up best: “It was 60 and sunny. We were running around like kids—pure joy.” Debbie had a Disney day to remember too: “I hadn’t been in over 10 years—and never without my kids! Having lunch at the Crystal Palace, watching the parade on Main Street, and yes… I even got Kim’s husband on Space Mountain. He hadn’t ridden since he was seven!”

Each year, the Crystal Conference reignites our passion for what we do. Being surrounded by driven, generous travel professionals reminds us why we never stop learning. The KHM Travel Group team is a constant source of support and growth, and we’re beyond thankful for their guidance and partnership.
We had the best time at the Crystal Conference and Award Ceremony but for now, it's back to work to apply all we learned!
